The 2023-24 Named & Endowed Scholarship Application is now open!

Detroit Mercy Law awards several named and endowed scholarships to upper-level students each year. These scholarships are made available by generous alumni and friends of Detroit Mercy Law. All upper-level law students are eligible and strongly encouraged to apply.

    How to Apply

    Please complete both the General application and the Law application to be considered for scholarships.

    Eligibility

    All upper-level law students are eligible and strongly encouraged to apply. While some scholarships are need-based or merit-based, others have different criteria altogether. You are encouraged to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your financial need.

    Notifications & Awards

    Students selected for a scholarship will be notified during the Fall term and the award will be applied to the Winter term, in addition to other Detroit Mercy Law or external scholarships, up to the cost of tuition and fees. Unless specifically noted, scholarships are one-time, non-renewable awards.
