Online Status
Detroit Mercy Law reviews applications on a rolling admission basis. This process begins in the fall and continues throughout the summer. A decision may take four to six weeks or longer based on the overall applicant pool.
You can monitor the status of your application 24 hours a day by visiting the Online Status Checker. The various online statuses and their explanations can be seen below.
Due to software limitations, only one application status can be displayed at a time. If you submitted an application to the US JD and the Canadian & American Dual JD programs, only one status will be displayed at a time. For questions regarding the non-displayed application statuses, please contact your admissions counselor.
