1L Scholarships

Detroit Mercy Law awards scholarships to incoming and returning students who have demonstrated success during their undergraduate studies or while enrolled at Detroit Mercy Law.

All incoming students who submit an application for admission by February 1 will be considered for a renewable scholarship. Scholarship offers are generally extended at the same time as the offer of admission.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Cost of Attendance budgets are based on actual and estimated expenses associated with attending Detroit Mercy Law for one academic year (two semesters). The budget includes education-related expenses like tuition, fees, books and other educational supplies, room and board, transportation, and direct personal expenses.
