Detroit Mercy Law graduate Fatmeh Cheaib awarded scholarship from Women Lawyers Association of Michigan

University of Detroit Mercy School of Law recent graduate Fatmeh Cheaib '22 was awarded the first Hon. Karen Fort Hood Scholarship by the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Wayne Region.
“The highlight of my legal education at Detroit Mercy Law has been the relationships that I’ve built,” Chaeib said. “I’ve been blessed to have the support of Dean Jefferson Exum, Dean Lundberg, and dozens of professors. Each one has been instrumental in my growth as an individual and as a future attorney.”
Cheaib plans to sit for the Michigan Bar Exam in July and further her legal career in Detroit. While a student, Cheaib was a junior member of the Detroit Mercy Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates.
