    Mark holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Biopharmaceutical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is interested in exploring how law adapts to changing technologies. Prior to law school, he worked as an engineer and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.

    Davis holds a BA in Criminal Justice from Tiffin University. Originally from Belle Center, Ohio, he chose the Canadian & American Dual JD program to further explore transnational criminal legal matters. He plans to use his US JD and Canadian JD to help individuals wrongfully accused on both sides of the border.

    Meet Yasmine

    Yasmine is completing the Canadian & American Dual JD Program.  She is interested in immigration law and foreign policy.  She comes from an immigrant family and plans to use her US and Canadian law degrees to defend victims of discrimination and help immigrant families.

    Lauren holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Law, Justice, and Public Policy, and a minor in Spanish from Michigan State University. Prior to law school, she served as a Research Assistant to the Political Science department at Michigan State University where she researched psychological influences in Supreme Court cases.

    Meet Cassidy

    Cassidy holds a BA in English and Journalism, with a concentration in Broadcast and Digital Journalism, as well as a minor in Anthropology from Wayne State University. As a future lawyer, her goal is to better the lives of others. Cassidy serves as the assistant coach to the Varsity Field Hockey team at her alma mater, Regina High School.

Through the 3+3 program, a student’s first year of law school also serves as the final year of undergraduate studies. Prior to law school, Emily worked as a paralegal and supported litigation

    Meet Temi

    Temi holds a BA in English with a minor in psychology from Albion College, where he was a member of the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service. Prior to law school, he was published by the American Lawyer Media (ALM) while interning as a staff writer.  His career goal is to advance public policy through legal journalism.

    Meet Brandon

    Brandon holds a BS in Law and Economics and Philosophy from Central Michigan University. Brandon, the son of a pastor, learned the importance of faith and working for change at a young age.  Whatever direction his career takes him, he plans to use his legal education to make a difference and hopes to inspire and create new pathways for the next generation.

    Yohana, born and raised in Seattle, Washington, is passionate about social justice.  Through her work with Amnesty International and the Ferguson, Missouri protests, she has witnessed injustices in the justice system.  She plans to use her law degree to continue her work in pursuit of social justice.

    Nick, born and raised in Detroit, is the grandson of Charley North of the Detroit Mercy Titans Hall of Fame.  He chose to pursue a career in law because the legal field is intellectually challenging and provides the opportunity to rise to challenges while enhancing the lives of others.  He is interested in criminal law and plans to advocate for the wrongfully convicted.

    Meet DeAndre

    DeAndre holds a BA in Psychology from Wayne State University. As a Licensed Practical Nurse with experiencing providing patient care at rehabilitation centers, he is interested in exploring healthcare law.  He is also an advocate for civil rights, justice, and equal access under the law.

    Meet Aaron

    Aaron is committed to service and solving problems that impact communities.  For the past year, he taught special education at Detroit's Thurgood Marshall Elementary while coaching their afterschool sports program.  He is also a co-founder of the L.A.B., a mentorship group for young men, focused on leadership, attitude, and brotherhood.

    Meet Rita

    Rita is a native of Baghdad, Iraq who learned the English language in college while also raising her three children.  For the past ten years, she worked as a clinical lab scientist in the largest hospitals in metro Detroit.  She now plans to use her law degree in conjunction with her science background to pursue careers in health law and patent law.

    Meet Christos

    Christos holds a BA in Classical Studies and Psychology, a M.Div., and a Ph.D. in Physiology. Prior to law school, his research and experience focused on neurophysiology and neuroimaging and he taught as a sessional university instructor. He is fluent in Greek and knowledgeable of Latin and French.

    Meet Aidan

    Aidan was adopted from China as a toddler and resided in multiple cities throughout the US.  She contributed to a university history lab that focused on Detroit in the 1960-70s.  She is interested in environmental justice and civil rights issues.

    Joe recently returned from Denmark, where he played team handball semi-professionally.  During college, he played lacrosse and represented the US as a member of the U-21 National Team Handball team.  His prior professional experience includes working at Global Health Services Network, an international healthcare development, consulting, and management firm.

    Meet Briann

    Briann is passionate about family law and aims to use her legal career to advocate for victims of domestic violence.  In college, she conducted research on domestic violence with a primary focus on economic abuse.  She has supported advocacy efforts directed at helping victims of domestic violence and has experience assisting individuals with disabilities.
