Request Form

1. If you are requesting the letter or information for the purpose of employment, you must meet with Assistant Dean Markeisha Miner (Room 123) to complete an employment letter request form located in Dean Miner’s Office. Dean Miner’s signature must also be on the Employment Letter Request Form, so you do not need to complete this form.

2. If you are requesting a letter or information for the purpose of transferring to another school, you must meet with Associate Dean Caprio (Room 207A) as well as complete a Transfer Request Form located in Dean Caprio’s Office. Dean Caprio’s signature must also be on the Transfer Request Form.

3. If you are requesting a letter or information for the purpose of participating in an externship, you must meet with Prof. Richard Krisciunas (Room 105) as well as complete an Externship Letter Request Form. Prof. Krisciunas’ signature must also be on the Externship Letter Request Form.

4. If you are requesting the letter or information for the purpose of participating in a study abroad program or as guest student at another university, you must contact Dean Caprio and apply for the program through the Admissions & Student Affairs Office. The letter will be generated through that Office.

The copy of the application will include the application along with all attachments, any additional materials submitted by you in support of the application for your admission to the law school, and any amendments.

Proof of enrollment letter
A proof of enrollment letter certifies that you are enrolled at the University for the current term.

Letter of standing
A letter of standing certifies that you are/were enrolled in the University in good academic standing meaning your semester and overall GPA are at least 2.00 or above.

Letter of standing including class rank
A letter of standing including class rank certifies that you are/were in good academic standing meaning your semester and overall GPA are at least 2.00 or above along with your official class rank.

Letter of good standing and character and fitness
A letter of good standing certifies that you are/were enrolled at the University in good academic and character and fitness standing meaning you are not in academic jeopardy or you do not have any disciplinary matters in your academic file.

Letter of good standing and character and fitness including class rank
A letter of good standing certifies that you are/were enrolled at the University in good academic and character and fitness standing along with your official class rank. With the exception of each graduating class, students are ranked at the end of Term II each academic year.

Letter of character and fitness
A letter of character and fitness certifies that there are/are not disciplinary matters contained in your academic file. Invalid Input
