UDM Law Alumnus Michael Talbot Becomes Chief Judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals

UDM Law Alumnus Hon. Michael J. Talbot ('71) is the new Chief Judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals, effective January 1.  As the Chief Judge, he will oversee the administration and management of the Court of Appeals.  Judge Talbot will also continue to serve as Chief Judge of the Michigan Court of Claims.  Judge Talbot recently completed his appointment from the Michigan Supreme Court as Special Judicial Administrator of the 36th District Court in Detroit.  He was honored by the School of Law as the 2012 Alumnus of the Year.
