Alumna Forms New SSD/ VA Disability Law Firm in Michigan


Alumna Mandy Kelly is kicking off the New Year with a new venture. Kelly, a 2010 graduate of University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, along with her partners, Erika Riggs and Randall Mansour left Ball Johnson, PC, to form, Kelly, Riggs & Mansour, PLC, d/b/a “Disability Law Group,” on January 1.

Attorneys Kelly, Riggs, and Mansour opened the doors to their Troy, Michigan office on January 1. Their practice specializes strictly in helping people with disabilities – from children to adults who are no longer able to work. Their firm will offer a boutique-style law practice where every client matters with individualized attention, skilled legal advocacy and compassion being a priority.

Attorney Mandy Kelly has focused her practice on helping disabled veterans returning home from serving our country. She works tirelessly to help our veterans around the nation fight yet another battle in obtaining their disability benefits before both the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Administration. Kelly previously worked for Detroit Mercy Law’s Project SALUTE, helping low-income veterans receive their military compensation and pension benefits. She has traveled the country training attorneys from other firms on how to best represent our veterans. Kelly has also been recognized as a top 10 best attorney for exceptional and outstanding client service by the American Institute of Legal Counsel.
