Diving right in, yesterday was a blast. We had our annual Barrister's Ball, and it did not disappoint. It was nice to see everyone dressed up and having a good time. The most important thing I've learned this year is to keep laughing. Letting yourself get drowned in law school will turn your heart black. Don't get me wrong, stay on top of your assignments, but there's no reason to think you can't have a little me-time as well.

That being said, it is a hectic time for us 1Ls. In two weeks, we will have completed our 1L Moot Court competition. So for now, writing briefs and preparing oral arguments dominate our schedules. I'm not sure what to expect, but that's kind of the best part.

So far as other classes, summer vacation is only two months away. Two months where you review your notes and make your outlines, striving for those 4.0s.

I'm not sure what else to say. I'll gather my thoughts and be more helpful next week. In the meantime, The Wizard of Oz prequel comes out this week. Sign me up.
