Reviewing notes after each class and start outlining early.

Part of the law school adjustment is learning what study method works best for you.  I found that reviewing notes after class for a few minutes helps me better understand the concepts.  More recently I found that I should focus on one class per study session.  This way, I am learning the material in manageable clusters and don’t get overwhelmed with all that I have to do.  These little discoveries make the law school experience one that also helps my personal development.

Studying with the focus on one specific subject, allows me to maximize on family time in between study sessions.  It’s important to make sure that I’m not putting the people I care about on hold (too much) while achieving my own dreams.

Moments in time can be remembered but never gotten back.
