Greetings from the far out, exotic location of the third floor of the UDM Law Library!

Today has been a pretty uneventful day with property and civil procedure classes in the morning. It is currently around 2pm and I am planning to stick around here for another three hours to get some outlining done. I am driving down to Toledo tonight for a friend’s college volleyball playoff, and it will actually be the same distance driving from here or from home, so I figured I’d save myself the half hour drive back to Livonia. So here I sit.

I am really looking forward to this weekend. Not only do I have a chance to catch up on my sleep, but I also have the chance to really step up my game as far as prepping for my finals. My goal for the weekend is to have some sort of outline started for every class…we’ll see how that goes.

Let me ramble for a bit about the UDM Law Library. It’s four floors, if you count the basement (I do…) and it has basically everything you could want in a library. We have a computer lab with free printing, LexisNexis and Westlaw printers and support, lots of tables with outlet access, wireless internet and printing (also free), more books than one person could ever read in their lifetime (that get updated when they should; trust me on this, I work in the library, and it seems all I do is update our print resources…) and private study and video rooms. We’re also a federal government depository, so we have basically any information you could ever want about the federal government. Furthermore, he library staff and maintenance/housekeeping team are great. The library décor is rather 1970s-esque…but who doesn’t love the 70s?

Anyhow, I guess it’s time to get to my outlines…I’m sure I’ll have more to say about outlining in the days to come…
