Wow....I hadn't realized it had been so long since my last post!

Since then, finals have come and (thankfully) gone and after a short break I'm back in class for the summer!  Right after exams I was lucky to get to take an extended weekend vacation to relax before returning to a regular work schedule. And, it has been great to get to spend real quality time wth friends and family whom I admitedly fail to see as regularly as I should during the school year.

Oddly enough, it is pretty nice to be back!  Don't get me wrong - a break is not only well deserved but much needed after exams, but because I have become so used to a schedule that fills my day I tend to get a little bored with so much free time after just a few days.  That problem is solved with just one summer class...

Summer classes are rigorous (arguably more so than classes during a regular semester) because of the shorter time span to cover the same amount of material. This summer I'm taking Evidence.  The class meets three times per week for 2.5 hours.  We have had just two classes thus far but I think it is going to be a great class!  The upside is that I think the content of the class is really interesting.  The downside is that I think there may be steam coming from my head due to information overload already!  There is so much material for such a small amount of time and in just about a month it will be time to start preparing for the exam.  (Be forewarned...this is typical for a summer class!)

Overall, I guess it isn't a bad way to spend my summer.   Not only will I tack on some extra credits to help graduate sooner than originally planned, but I get to return to my preferred busy schedule and see some friendly faces that I missed!
