The International Intellectual Property Law Clinic (IP Clinic) is a unique collaborative effort between the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. It is the first international intellectual property clinical program certified by both the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO).
The IP Clinic prepares students for a successful career in the global IP market. Students work in an environment of reflective practice, learning how to be ethical, competent intellectual property professionals in a rapidly globalizing world.
Clients can acquire international intellectual property protection and students learn to practice intellectual property law in a global context.
