Student Spotlight

Fallon-Jenkins

Name: Fallon Jenkins

Expected Graduation: May 2014

Undergraduate Institution/Major: University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

Why did you choose UDM Law?

I chose UDM Law Because I knew I wanted to attend law school in the city of Detroit. After speaking with Alum from the law school, I knew this would be a great place for me.

What do you like best about attending law school in Detroit?

The best thing about attending law school in Detroit is that restaurants, law firms, courhouses and sports stadiums are all within walking distance.

What suprised you the most about law school?

I was most surprised about the accessibility and enthusiasm of my professors. During my first year of law school, all of my professors would hold extra office hours and review sessions to ensure that the students were understanding the material.

What has been your best experience in law school?

My best experience at UDM Law was participating in the first year oral competition, G-Mennen. The competition was such an eye-opener because it showed me how much I love oral advocay and litigation.

Why would you recommend UDM Law to a prospective student?

I would recommend UDM Law to a prospective student because a student will receive a great education from faculty and staff that want you to succeed.
