Storm T. Kirschenbaum, ’03

In July 2007, sports attorney Storm Kirschenbaum formed Metis Sports Management, LLC, a full service sports management company.  MSM specializes in baseball and football representation, with a major focus on marketing professional athletes.

Prior to MSM, Mr. Kirschenbaum served three years as Vice President of Integrity Sports Player Representation, Inc., where he oversaw the baseball, football, and marketing divisions.  He has represented over 140 professional athletes. 

Storm Kirschenbaum is a Certified Contract advisor both in the NFL and CFL.  He is also a MLBPA Certified Player Agent.  Mr. Kirschenbaum was a successful baseball player having set or broken eight Michigan high school baseball records with Birmingham Groves.  He was named to the USA Today All-American Team, All-State, and prestigious Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association “Dream Team” along with Drew Henson (Detroit Lions) and Ryan Anderson (Milwaukee Brewers).  He was also selected Athlete of the Year by the Michigan Jewish Sports Foundation and Player of the Year by the Royal Oak Tribune.

After an exceptional high school career, Mr. Kirschenbaum received a scholarship from number one ranked University of Florida, where he joined teammates David Eckstein (San Diego Padres), Brad Wilkerson (Boston Red Sox), Mark Ellis (Oakland Athletics), and Josh Fogg (Colorado Rockies).  He played his last two seasons at Long Island University – C.W. Post (Division I), where he was awarded the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Merit Medal (given to one athlete in the conference for the highest academic average and athletic achievement).

Mr. Kirschenbaum graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Long Island University.  He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he served three terms as President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. He serves on the Board of the Michigan Jewish Sports Foundation Hall of Fame and Athlete of the Year Selection Committees and the Hank Greenberg Golf and Tennis Invitational.  He is the co-founder of the Michigan Boxing Hall of Fame and sits on the board of the Inner City Exposure Foundation.  Mr. Kirschenbaum is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Entertainment and Sports Law Forum and a member of the Michigan State Bar.  He is a contributing editor for The Sports Network, North America’s foremost international real-time sports wire service website.  His column is entitled “The Agent Chronicles.”  Highly regarded publication DBusiness voted Mr. Kirschenbaum a “Top 30 in their Thirties Business Owners” for 2011.
