Private Sector Labor Law (2390)

This course covers the historical development of federal labor legislation with emphasis on the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), the Norris-LaGuardia Act, the Taft-Hartley Act, and the Labor-Management Disclosure Act. The course will deal with the representation rights and unfair labor practice provisions of the NLRA, the enforcement of collective bargaining agreements, labor injunctions, the duties of fair representation, and the rights of union members.
